THE financial implications from Malaysia’s transport system will get worse with rising petrol prices and interest rates, Liew Chin Tong said.
“With fuel subsidies – petrol, diesel and liquefied petroleum gas – estimated to reach RM37.3 billion this year, the need to build highly connected and bus-centred public transport systems has never been greater,” said the DAP leader in a column in Fulcrum today.
